Hello friends, thanks for stopping by! I hope you’re intrigued by this fun Dinosaur project I’m sharing today. I made this Faux Bronze Dinosaur project over at DecoArt blog last week asn couldn’t wait to share. As you all know I’m apart of the core blogger team for DecoArt. Every month we have a fun challenge to create a project using a DecoArt product. This month I had the opportunity to try the DecoArt Matte Metallics paint.
I used some dinosaurs I got from the Dollar Tree a couple years ago. My son has always loved having a dinosaur themed room, but now that he’s 7, I think it’s time to make it a little more sophisticated feeling and not so little kid feeling.
Items needed:
- DecoArt Matte Metallics 2oz – Aged Bronze
- DecoArt Matte Metallics 2oz – Charcoal
- DecoArt Matte Metallics 2oz – Soft Silver
- Paint Brush
- Plastic Dinosaurs
I am part of the DecoArt core blogger team for 2017-2018. This post and paint is sponsored by DecoArt, but all opinions, ideas and creative inspo are from me.
Dinosaur Project
I haven’t attempted a project like this before, so it was really fun to work on and experiment with. You can try this out on so many different type of projects.
What would you try?
My son was so excited to put these in his room and display on his shelf. I seriously had this dinosaur project done in know time. This would also be a fun kids project to work on with if they are a little older. I don’t know how long it will last with them having a dinosaur theme room or when they will grow out of it. But I just love it! I’ll take while I can!
Even as a little girl I was a dinosaur fan. My barbies would ride the dinosaurs when I would play.
Make sure to stop by the DecoArt Blog and see the full tutorial for this project!
Looking for another dinosaur project? I made this cute dinosaur necklace for my son a few months ago!
I hope you enjoyed this project, thanks for stopping by and have a crafty day!
Love, Courtney
